The project of the lost treasures

• Most people waste the hour following the breakfast which you can benefit from in reciting one complete Khatmah (completing of one reading of the whole Qur'an) during the entire month, so what keeps you from gaining the reward of a complete Khatmah? Will a comic show or an interview with an artist make up that for you?

The project of monks of the night (Knights of Tahajjud)

• Read this magnificent Hadith in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah (may He be Exalted) gives respite in the month Ramadan every night until the first third of the night is gone and Allah descends to worldly sky and says: Is there someone who needs something to give?

Is there someone who asks for forgiveness to forgive?

Is there someone who asks for repentance to pardon?” [See Zhilal Al Jannah: Vol 1).

The fascinating thing is that Allah (may He be Exalted) comes down in Ramadan every night in the last portion of the night according to the most famous views.

As for Ramadan, Allah comes down in the last two thirds of the night. So, the whole month of Ramadan is full of good chances for relieving the affliction and gaining blessings, so what a good chance it is? If you do not have sins, sleep. If you do not need anything from Allah, sleep. If you are not eager to win the highest position in Paradise, sleep.

The project of the life night

The Night of the Decree (12 hours) is better than one thousand nights [i.e., better than 720 thousand hours]. So, one hour is better than 60 hours, truly whomever is deprived of its goodness has already been deprived. [See Sahih Al Jami`, Hadith No. 55]. Indeed, it is the life night, so do not depend only on exerting efforts in odd nights, but exert more efforts in the last ten days so as to make sure that you will not miss any goodness. When you catch that night, maintain good relations with your relatives even on telephone, reconcile with those whom you have disputes with even on telephone, and offer Salah until your feet ache. One of the best acts of worship is to ask for the pardon of Allah and to forgive those who wronged you because retribution shall be according to actions, so repeat frequently: "O Allah, truly You are forgiving and loves to forgive, so forgive me."

The project of making sure to get the reward of the Fast

• Each fasting person you feed is like fasting another day of Ramadan, and a day equals ten days. So, if you feed 36 fasting people, it is as if you have fasted 360 days which means that you have fasted the entire year and made the entire year Ramadan (Do not forget the bag of Ramadan which is full of cereals and do not forget to put packets of fresh dates in masjids and you shall have the reward of many Ramadans in your scale of good deeds.

The project of the knights of the Da`wah (Islamic Call)

• The most important season during which the people want to draw nearer to Allah is Ramadan, so you have to seize the chance, strive with your money and effort to distribute books and CDs on non-religious people, drivers, shop salesmen to add to your good deeds every day the deeds which those people have read and listened. All these shall benefit you on the Day of Recompense where no money nor children shall benefit except those who come to Allah with a pure heart.

The project of Ramadan knights

Make a commitment with Allah to repent in everyday in Ramadan from a certain sin and do not go back to it ever. The first day, make a commitment to give up smoking. The second day, make a commitment to give up mixture with women. The third day, make a commitment to give up songs, and so on. Purify your cell phone as well as your computer from anything that may incur the wrath of Allah (Glory be to Him).

The project of the female knights in Ramadan

You have to wear the full Hijab as `A'ishah and Fatimah used to wear.

Dear Muslim sister, if you do not enter in Allah's Mercy while all the gates of Paradise are opened, when shall you enter?

The project of intensive care (observing I`tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan)

• How many young people have totally changed because of I`tikaf? I`tikaf is a reason for increasing faith because faith increases by obedience and decreases by disobedience, and the one who observes I`tikaf is busy with worshipping Allah. I`tikaf also is a reason for disciplining and purifying oneself by stopping much lawful things from it so as to obey its lord and do not disobey Him.

The project of Dhikr knights

(Subhana Allah, wal Hamdullilah, wala Ilaha Illa Allah, wallahu Akbar [Glory be to Allah, no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest]) are the most beloved words for Allah. The reward of each word is a tree in Paradise. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said about its virtue: "Saying: "Subhana Allah, Wal Hamdullilah, wala Ilaha Illa Allah, Wallahu Akbar [Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest" makes errors fall away as the leaves of a tree fall away." [See Sahih Al Jami` Hadith No. (2089)].

Say these words in the last sitting of Salat-ud-Duha, during your walk in the street, and everywhere, and do not waste its great reward.

Finally, what should happen after Ramadan?

• Dear Muslim brother, you have to know that the sign of accepting your fasting in Ramadan and the sign of releasing you from Hell-Fire in Ramadan is to continue piety after Ramadan by doing righteous deeds and avoiding sins as much as possible because the sign of accepting a good deed is to follow it with a good deed. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone fasts during Ramadan, then follows it with six days in Shawwal, it will be like a perpetual fast." [See Sahih Sunan Abu Dawud: (2/324)].

So, you have to make a commitment to maintain your acts of worship and do not abandon them after Ramadan, such as maintaining the five daily Salah in masjids, fasting Mondays and Thursdays, fasting (the 13th, the 14th, and the 15th) of each Arabian month, keeping to Qiyam only half an hour every night (or at least two Rak`ahs), reciting a fixed portion of the Qur'an, and keeping to the morning and evening Adhkar (invocations and Remembrances said at certain times on a regular basis).
