The Indian scholar "`Inayatullah Al Mashriqy" had a link of affection and friendship with the famous English astronomer Sir "James Jeans," a professor at the University of Cambridge. One day, he was visiting him at his home in London, Dr. `Inayatullah Al Mashriqy said: Sir James Jeans was delivering a lecture on the composition of celestial bodies and their amazing system, their dimensions, enormous separators, paths, orbits, gravity, and the amazing flooding lights, suddenly I felt the fear of Allah's Glory and Majesty.

The two men were great scholars: `Inayatullah was one of the greatest Indian scholars in physics and mathematics and Sir James Jeans was one of the greatest English scholars in astronomy. It seems that they were involved deeply in the lecture of Sir James Jeans and felt the tremendous glory of the universe and its vast extension which scholars have only discovered tiny part of it.

They believed that the knowledge, which today's scholars have, is little and what they ignore is abundant. The precision of the universe, its precise arrangement, and miraculous balance, which exceeds the ability of human beings, indicate that the glory of Allah (Glory be to Him) is great and His Will is absolute and beyond any capacity. They felt a case of powerful faith that was sneaking into their hearts then they could feel the glory, prestige, and greatness of their Lord (Glory be to Him).

`Inayatullah said about the English scholar: I felt that the hair of his head was erecting, his tears were shedding, and his hands were shaking out of Allah's Fear. Suddenly, he stopped and started to say: O `Inayatullah, when I have a look at the wonders of Allah's Creation, my body starts to shiver out of fear and glory and when I kneel down before him and say to Him: How great You are, O Lord, I find every part of me submits. At that time, I feel comfort and happiness that excel the happiness of all people; have you understood why I am a believer?

The Indian scholar added: That lecture stirred questions in my mind, so I said to Sir James: I have been affected by the scientific details which you have just mentioned to me and I could remember an Ayah of the Glorious Qur'an, if you allow me, I shall recite it to you. He shook his head in affirmative and said: Gladly. I recited to him Allah's Saying: "See you not that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and We produce therewith fruits of various colours, and among the mountains are streaks white and red, of varying colours and (others) very black. * And likewise of men and Ad-Dawâbb [moving (living) creatures, beasts], and cattle, are of various colours. It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving." [Surat Ghafir: 27 - 28].

When I recited the Ayah, Sir James cried: What have you said: "It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allâh"? It is amazing and weird, it is the discovery which study and observation confirmed after fifty years. Who had told Muhammad this fact? Does this Ayah really exist in the Qur'an? I said: Yes, it is. Sir, James jeans said: Write down my testimony, I bear witness that the Qur'an is truly inspired by Allah. The famous English astronomer said: Muhammad was illiterate and he could no way discover this fact alone, but he must have known it through revelation; it is amazing.

This is the fact that was disclosed on the tongue of two of the most famous scholars: One is a Christian scholar who was Sir James Jean and the other was a Muslim orientalist scholar Dr. `Inayatullah Al Mashriqy, the best scholar of physics and mathematics in his country. The true stance of science becomes clear at the hand of these two scholars, proving that the knowledge of man is little in compare to the secrets of this vast universe. The person who dives in knowledge shall realize the essence of Allah (Glory be to Him) and fear Him because he had touched His Absolute Power and knew His Greatness, then fear possesses him and tears shed from his eyes.

When the Muslim scholar hastened to recite the Glorious Ayah, which confines the fear of Allah in scholars, we found that the non-Muslim scholar asked him to make sure that the Ayah was mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an. When the answer was in affirmative, he rushed courageously to testify that the Glorious Quran was inspired by Allah (Glory be to Him) not from the discoveries of Muhammad as Christians claim.

Then we have to say: True and deep knowledge which studies, observes, and dives into secrets is a means to reach the faith in Allah, admit His Existence, admit His Greatness, management to the universe, and His Dominance to it. As for the people who call the people to doubting and atheism under the name of science, they are lying ignorant who do not know anything about knowledge and deny the truth and faith which is crystal-clear before their eyes.
