All praise be to Allah alone, and peace be upon the last Prophet.

One of the huge inflictions that hit a person is that he keeps on committing sins and lusts which his soul desires without stopping or deterring it. Satan decorates for a person to leave the actions which ordained on him. A poor person thinks that as long as he says: "No god but Allah," he is good because nothing can harm a person who says this statement, but he is from the worst losers. "Say (O Muhammad): Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds? * Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!" [Surat Al Kahf: 103 - 104].

The poor person thinks that Islam is a word that a person repeats with his tongue without seeing an effect in his life, without confirming it with actions and by worshipping Allah (Glory be to Him).

Does Islam only want its followers to say a word that a believer or a hypocrite may say without action? Is it a naive religion to the extent that some may think that as long as they are born Muslims, they shall be Muslims forever and nothing can negate this description from him.

It is sad that most people think that Islam is a description which they inherit from their parents only, so a person remains a Muslim even if he does not perform Salah, does not fast Ramadan, and does not do any devotional matter for Allah (Glory be to Him); so what is the meaning to be a Muslim without submitting to the Lord?!

Salah is the basis of this religion, and there is no religion without Salah. So, if you perform Salah sincerely, you have established your religion and maintained it against corruption, however if you waste it, you shall waste other obligatory duties. Yes, this is our religion which Allah legislated for us. Therefore, there is no Muslim in our religion deserves to be a Muslim without performing Salah or prostrating to Allah. Salah is the partition between disbelief and faith. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Between disbelief and faith lies neglect of Salah." And said: "Verily between man and between polytheism and unbelief is the negligence of Salah." And said: "That which differentiates us from the disbelievers and hypocrites is our performance of Salah. He who abandons it, becomes a disbeliever." Besides other authentic Hadiths that indicate that the one who abandons Salah is not a Muslim. So, be careful and try to catch up what you missed before a day comes where there will be no regret or sorrow. Today, you have time to fix things up and the chance for repentance is open, so seize it to win the happiness and bliss in this world and in the Hereafter, but if you waste it, that will be the real loss in this world and the next: In the world you shall live in misery and distress, and in the Hereafter you shall regret for the rights of Allah that you have wasted. Let it be known that you are heading to a hell that has no end, so why do you neglect Salah, O servant of Allah?!

If it for the world and increasing money?!

It was reported in the divine Hadith in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah said: We have sent down money to establish Salah and to pay Zakah." So, money is a means to establish Salah and achieve servitude to Allah, so do not make money your goal in life.

Do you abandon Salah for watching TV or for sleep?!

Why do you abandon it? Do you think that happiness lies in this false rest and happy life which you think you enjoy? Suppose you get the money or worldly benefits you like, how long would it remain and how long shall you enjoy it? 50 or 60 years are the duration of your lifetime, so would you be keen to achieve a false happiness for a limited period then you shall be wretched on the Day of Recompense forever?! Shall any reasonable be keen to do such a work or conclude such forfeited bargain?!

Imam Muslim reported in his Sahih about the conditions of the last person who shall enter Paradise. He is a person who did a lot of sins and was tortured in Hell-Fire as long as Allah willed then Allah shall bring him out and admit him to Paradise by His Mercy. Then He shall give him the world and the like with it; this is the least rank of those who shall enter Paradise, so how about those of higher ranks?!

Those who abandon Salah shall not get this reward. Those who abandon Salah, even if they were of good-manners and did not do anything but abandoning Salah, shall not drink a blissful handful of water but he shall remain in Hell forever. How is not while he sentenced himself with apostasy when he abandoned Salah?!

O servant of Allah, this is your chance to repent, reckon yourself, return to Allah, and regret. Stand up for Salah and purify yourself for Salah. Prostrate to Allah (Glory be to Him) in reverence and submission, and say with determination and sincere repentance: O Lord, here I am returning to You, so forgive me. Here I am returning to You, so accept my repentance. You shall find that Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Oft-Merciful who forgives sins and accepts repentance.

He changes the sins of those who repent sincerely to good deeds, admits him to Paradise, and grants him the highest ranks in this world and expands their chests. "Say: O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh: Verily, Allâh forgives all sins. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Surat Az-Zumar: 53].

And peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, upon his family, and his Companions.

And the last of our call is to say: All the praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord of `Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
