Common people say nice words and when we contemplate them, they become a pillar to understand the words of Allah. I realized this while reading the words of Allah which mean: "O you who believe! Be not like those who annoyed Musa (Moses), but Allah cleared him of that which they alleged, and he was honorable before Allah." [Surat Al Ahzab: 69].

It came in the explanation of this Ayah a remarkable Hadith which I shall mention at the end of the article.

It stunned my mind the word (honorable) which means high status in the sight of Allah which is a great status for Prophet Moses (peace be upon him).

Common people say: "The face of so and so gets him out" or "the face of so and so lets him pass through."

The meaning of their speech is: His demands are not rejected and fulfilled. Likewise Moses (peace be upon him) in the sight of His Lord (Glorified and Exalted be He) who asked his Lord to make his brother Aaron a minister to him and Allah made him and did not refuse his request but after he (peace be upon him) said to him: "O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You." [Surat Al A`raf: 143].

He who lives with the Qur'an gets good living standards and knows that any way must be full of harm, so he should submit, become pleased, rely on Allah, prepare himself and train to push away harm or to leave it following the biographies of Prophets and righteous people and their handling to the harms of their people.

Harm is: Everything, which its effect disturbs, and its words and actions harm.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No one is more patient for a harm he hears than Allah. They attribute children to Him, whereas He makes them healthy and provide them with sustenance."

Harm increases and decreases according to your giving and dedication, your status and greatness, and your faith. You should take into consideration what happened to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and what did he suffered from the disbelievers and the hypocrites, then Allah asks him not to obey them in their provocations, to leave their harm, rely on him, and to say: Moses was harmed more than my harm but he observed patience.

Many are those who wronged you, insulted you, doubted you before your success, and slandered you thereafter. This is still their nature and harm will never stop, so will you stop your way of goodness, pay attention to them, and indulge with them in what they do, your time, effort, and success go away, and burden yourself what they charged themselves with?!

If you want to live with comfortable mind, do not pay attention to the matter, leave their harm, and go on using reliance on Allah, and he shall protect you from people.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:"(The Prophet) Moses was a shy person and used to cover his body completely because of his extensive shyness. One of the children of Israel hurt him by saying: 'He covers his body in this way only because of some defect in his skin, either leprosy or scrotal hernia, or he has some other defect.' Allah wished to clear Moses of what they said about him, so one day while Moses was in seclusion, he took off his clothes and put them on a stone and started taking a bath. When he had finished the bath, he moved towards his clothes so as to take them, but the stone took his clothes and fled; Moses picked up his stick and ran after the stone saying: 'O stone! Give me my garment!' Till he reached a group of Banu Israel who saw him naked then, and found him the best of what Allah had created, and Allah cleared him of what they had accused him of. The stone stopped there and Moses took and put his garment on and started hitting the stone with his stick. By Allah, the stone still has some traces of the hitting, three, four or five marks. This was what Allah refers to in His Saying:- "O you who believe! Be you not like those who annoyed Moses, but Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged, and he was honorable In Allah's Sight." [Surat Al Ahzab: 69].
