Introduction

All praise be to Allah, we praise, seek His Help, we ask for His Forgiveness, and we repent to Him. We seek refuge in Him from the evils of ourselves and our bad deeds. Whom Allah guides no one can mislead and whoever has been misled no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone who has no partner and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger (May Allah send peace and blessings upon his family and Companions).

* The Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) health and emptiness."

Beware not to lose them because the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commended people with making use of health.

* The Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "(On the Day of Resurrection) the feet of a person will not move till he is asked about four things: then he mentioned of them: about his lifetime which he spent and about his youth, how he passed it?"

* The Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Seize five things before five things: Then he mentioned of them: "And your health before your illness."

O poor person, you shall be asked about your health; so have you thanked Allah for the blessing of health? Thanking Allah for His Blessings is a kind of good actions that you should keep to. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Work you, O family of Dâwûd (David), with thanks! But few of My slaves are grateful." [Surat Saba': 13]. Have you praised Allah for the blessing of good health?

* The Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "The best invocation is to say All praise be to Allah."

Ask yourself: Have you thanked Allah for His Blessings? The world is a place for trials and afflictions, therefore it is full of disasters, griefs, and diseases; so observe patience and Paradise shall be your reward. Ali ibn Abu Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If you observe patience, afflictions shall happen to you while you are gaining a reward (for patience), but if you do not, afflictions shall hit you while you are sinful (for not observing patience)."

* O afflicted person who observes patience, Allah shall be with you. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." [Surat Al Baqarah: 153].

* O afflicted person who observes patience, Allah loves you. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "And Allâh loves As-Sâbirûn (the patient)." [Surat Al `Imran: 146].

* O afflicted person who observes patience, you shall take your reward in full. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning." [Surat Az-Zumar: 10].

* O afflicted person who observes patience, you shall have glad tidings, the mercy of Allah shall descend on you, and you shall be of the guided. Allah (may He be Exalted) says: "But give glad tidings to As-Sâbirûn (the patient). * Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: Truly! To Allâh we belong and truly, to Him we shall return. * They are those on whom are the Salawât (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who receive His) Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones." [Surat Al Baqarah: 155 - 157].

Allah is with you, loves you, rewards you in full, gives you extra reward, the mercy of Allah shall descend on you, and you shall be of the guided ones.

O afflicted people, distress shall be relieved, so have glad tidings for the one who relieves distress is Allah.

Despair sometimes possesses a person, so do not get despair for the one who relieves distress is Allah. Allah causes easiness after difficulty, so do not get frightened for the Creator is Allah.

If you are afflicted, put your trust in Allah and be satisfied with Him for the one who removes afflictions is Allah. By Allah, there is no god but Allah, so Allah is Sufficient for you in all your affairs. O Allah, accept our work, heal our patients, and provide victory to Islam and give glory to Muslims.

And the last of our call is praise be to Allah the Lord of all the Worlds. May Allah send peace and blessings to our master Muhammad, his family, and all his Companions.
