• The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) says: "When it is the first night of the month of Ramadan, the devils and the rebellious jinns are chained. The gates of Fire are locked- not a single gate is opened, and the gates of Paradise are opened- not a single gate is locked, and a caller calls out every night: O seeker of good come forward, and O seeker of evil, desist. and there are many whom Allah frees from Hell-Fire - and that is every night." [See Hadith No. 759 in Sahih Al Jami`].

• So, this heavenly celebration of the coming of Ramadan is to draw the attention of a Muslim to the importance of this blessed month for all, as it is the trade shop for the pious and the field of competitors. So, the happy ones are those who benefit from it and the wretched are those who are deprived of Allah's Mercy, Forgiveness, and Rescue of Hell.

• Due to the speed by which days of Ramadan pass, a believer should benefit from every moment of it because you should know if you miss Ramadan, you cannot make up for it; is not it enough that you have wasted all the past Ramadans?! If you fall down, you should stand up and do not despair, consider it the last Ramadan in your life, and make up your mind and go with us in one of these projects as much as possible.

The Project of “How to earn a billion good deeds in Ramadan?”

Do you know that the good deeds resulting from one Qur'anic Khatmah (completing of one reading of the whole Qur'an) in normal days -if it is accepted by Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He)- equals (3.3 million good deeds) which erases 3.3 million bad deeds. The multiplication of good deeds in Ramadan has made the reward of `Umrah (minor hajj) done in Ramadan equals the reward of performing Hajj with the Prophet (peace be upon him), so what about the reward of Khatmah in Ramadan? There are hundreds of millions of good deeds between your hand, so why do you waste them then you shall regret the waste of one good deeds on the Day of the Great Terror?

The project of kickoff

Make the start of the month is the strongest, so when it is the first night of Ramadan, make up your mind and be determined to make the first night the night in which you shall be rescued from Hell. From the first night by the will of Allah and every night directly after the breakfast, make up your mind to make this night is the night in which you shall be rescued from Hell-Fire. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah (may He be Exalted) rescues some people from Hell-Fire every day and night." [See Sahih Al Jami` Hadith No. 2169].

So, you have 60 chances to win the rescue from Hell: (in every day there is a chance and in every night there is a chance). This means: Only one night in Ramadan can save your entire destiny and the same goes for one day.

Ramadan project has changed me (preparing for Tarawih)

• Prepare the part of the Qur'an which you shall listen to in Tarawih at night by reciting it after `Asr Salah prudently and submissively and you are going to see the big difference in your submissiveness in Tarawih by the will of Allah. Thus, you shall recite one Khatmah and listen to another. If it is possible for you to read the Tafsir (Interpretation) of the part or listen to its interpretation on audio tape, it will be better; for thus the change happens during Ramadan.

• A piece of information: The interpretation of one part of the Qur'an is about 29 pages in Tafsir As-Sa`dy.

The project of the treasure keys

• Do you know that you have 60 answered invocations during Ramadan? This means 60 problems of your lifetime problems shall be resolved or 60 dreams may come true. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is an answered invocation for every Muslim every day and night. [See Sahih At-Targhib Wat-Tarhib vol. 1]. So, imagine with me that one of the world's rich people had given you 60 checks, how much would be your happiness?! Allah has the highest example, Allah gives you 60 answered invocations every day and night so that you can change your life in half an hour. So, keep a book of invocations in your pocket, read from it every day, and do not waste the keys of treasures.

The project of performing Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The performance of `Umrah in Ramadan equals performing Hajj with me. [See Sahih Al Jami` Hadith No. 4098]. So, there is no action that can make you accompany the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) like the Companions but performing `Umrah in Ramadan.

The project of increasing and expanding sustenance

Do you have a problem in sustenance? Do you need a remarkable job? Do you want a husband? Do you want an offspring? Do you want a wife? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever loves that he be granted more wealth and that his lease of life be prolonged then he should keep good relations with his Kith and kin." [Reported by Al Bukhari and Muslim].

The project of having 30 palaces in Paradise

• Not 30 palaces in the North Coast or in Hawaii, but in Paradise which contains bounties which no eye (has ever) seen, or heard by an ear, or imagined by a human being. So, keep to 12 supererogatory Rak`ahs: Two Rak`ahs before the Dawn Salah, four Rak`ahs before Zhuhr and two after it, two Rak`ahs after Maghrib, and two Rak`ahs after `Isha'. If it is possible for you to perform two Rak`ahs after Zhuhr, you may do so as to be included in the Prophet's saying: "Whoever observes the practice of performing four Rak`ah before Zhuhr Salah and four after the Zhuhr Salah, Allah will make Hell-Fire prohibited for him." [See Sahih At-Tirmidhy: (2/292)].

The project of the daily seven-times Hajj in Ramadan

• Do you know if you hear the Adhan then stand up immediately to perform ablution and go to the Masjid to perform the obligatory Salah, you shall have the reward of performing Hajj? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone goes out from his house after performing ablution for performing the prescribed Salah in congregation (in the mosque), his reward will be like that of one who goes for Hajj." [See Sahih Al Jami` Hadith No. 6228].

Women shall have the same reward in their homes if they have the intention to obey Allah and His Messenger by staying home while they are content and happy with answering the call of her Lord. These are five-times Hajj per day.

There is another Hajj about which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever offers the Fajr Salah in congregation then sat to mention Allah till the sun rises then he performs two Rak`ahs, he shall have the reward of a complete Hajj and `Umrah. The Prophet said: "Complete, complete, complete!" [See Sahih Al Jami` Hadith No. (6346)].

There is another Hajj as was authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that the reward of attending knowledge sessions is like performing Hajj. Perform Tarawih in a Masjid where there is a speech between Rak`ahs, for it has the same reward of attending knowledge sessions by the will of Allah (may He be Exalted).
