The rights of the prophet Muhammad upon his nation (followers )[1]

The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him ) has many rights some of which are follows:

- 1- believing in him and accepting his message as true, for Allah says :«so believe in Allah and his messenger and the Quran which we have sent down»  At-tghabun 64-8

- Following his example closely. Allah the Almighty says :« but my mercy  encompasses all things .so l will decree it for those who fear me and give zakah and those who believe in our signs those who follow the messenger , the unlettered prophet »   AL-Araf 7-156-157

- Loving him , for his saying:" none of you believes until he loves me more than he loves his children , his parents , and all people" Agreed upon .

- Supporting him both during his life and after his  death .Allah says :« for the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and his approval and supporting Allah and his messenger .those are the truthfull" Al-Hasher 59-8.

- Spending the message of Islam , the prophet says : " convey what you learn from me even if one Aayah"

- Venerating him during his life and his death, for Allah saying :« that you may believe in Allah and his messenger and honor him and respect the prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon » Al-Fatah 48-9.

- Asking Allah to send peace and blessings upon the prophet whenever his name is mentioned, Allah says:« Indeed , Allah confers his blessings upon the prophet ,his angles , O you who have believed , ask Allah to confer his blessings upon him and ask Allah to grant him peace" Al-Ahzab 33-56.

- Supporting his faithful close ones and disliking his enemies, Allah says :« you will not find a people who believe in Allah and the last day having affection for those who oppose  Allah and his messenger , even if  they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred .those – he has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from him» Almujadalah 58-22
