In this participation, I shall offer introduction to the most important Tafsir sites on the Internet, where I present an approximate evaluation about the site and how to benefit from. I hope that you share these sites, may Allah guide all people to success.

First, the site of Al-ul-Bayt (members of the Prophet's extended Muslim family) for Islamic thought foundation in Jordan.

http://www.altafsir.com/home.asp

Advantages of the site:

It seems to me that the site is the most inclusive about Tafsir on the Internet, where a plan was made to collect as much number of Tafsir books divided and arranged properly and easily viewed through which you can choose the Surah, the Ayah, and the Tafsir you want then the content will show up.

The site is sponsored by the Royal family in Jordan.

It is a comprehensive site for Qur'an and has sixteen translations into many languages such as: English - French - German - Italian - Spanish - Portuguese - Chinese - Japanese - Turkish - Persian - Urdu - Indonesian - Russian - Malaysian - Hindi - and Bengali.

• Books of Qur'anic sciences:

First, the reasons of revelation.

They depended on the book of Al Wahidy about the reasons of revelation.

Second, the meanings of the Qur'an: There are two books:

1- The meanings of the Qur'an of Al Farra'.

2- The meanings of the Qur'an of An-Nahhas.

Third, syntactic style of the Qur'an: They depended on the book of I`rabul-Qur'an of An-Nahhas.

Fourth, topics of the Qur'an. You can search for the Ayahs which speak about any of the topics stored in the list of Qur'anic topics.

Fifth, the rulings of the Qur'an, they depended on three books:

1- Ahkam Al Qur'an of Al Kayahirsy.

2- Ahkam Al Qur'an of Ibn `Araby.

3- Ahkam Al Qur'an of Imam Ash-Shaf`y.

Sixth, the virtues of the Qur'an: I do not know which book they depended on, but they refer to something called "the reference" when there is no virtue for the Surah or the Ayah, they say: There is no virtue for the Ayah or the Surah in the reference.

Seventh, abrogating and abrogated:

They depended on the book of Al Idah on the abrogating and abrogated text of the Qur'an of Mikky Al Qaysy which is viewed scattered according to the Ayah. As for the Ayah which has no reason for revelation, they write a message to you that nothing is found in the book about this Ayah. This is all I can say about this special site and those who launched it, may Allah reward them the best.

In the second rank, it comes the site of King Fahd Complex for printing the Qur'an

http://www.qurancomplex.org/arb

(2)

Second, King Fahd Complex for printing the Qur'an. This site includes much information about the Glorious Qur'an, recitations, the history of Mushaf, Qur'an manuscripts, and you can also listen to the Qur'an. It is available in many languages: Arabic, Urdu, English, French, Spanish, Indonesian, Hausa.

It also contains some recitations by the voice of Ali Al Hudhayfy, Ibrahim Al Akhdar, Muhammad Ayyub, `Abdullah Basfar from the productions of the Complex. These recitations have good features such as: You can save these recitations in mp3 or real player format. The page also contains: The definition of the Qur'an, viewing the text, memorizing the Qur'an, and odd words of the Qur'an, however the page is still under construction.

Topics of the Qur'an:

This is the best feature in the site "search by topic" in the Glorious Qur'an where you can search for a particular topic in the entire Qur'an, then manually you can extract topics from a certain Surah.

The difference between this feature and the feature of Al-ul-Bayt Site is: Search by topic in Al-ul-Bayt Site is more accurate and inclusive where you can search automatically for a topic in the entire volume of the Qur'an or in a Surah or in some Ayahs. Moreover, each topic is divided into elements such as: When you search for the story of Abraham with his people, you will find the following: Abraham with his people, Abraham with angels, Abraham and his children, the seclusion of Abraham to his people and glad tidings...etc.

Furthermore, you can find Al Mu`jam Al Mufahras in the site where you can search for any word through many ways either by root and by context and the number of repeated words in the Qur'an which is a great feature.

It also includes Mu`jam Al Mustalahat:

It also contains definitions of Qur'anic terms and the sciences of the Qur'an. Until now, they defined 19 items which are: The names of Surahs, Ishmam, Imalah, Al Juz', Al Huruf Al Muqatta`ah, Al Hizb, Ar-Rasm Al `Uthmani, Ar-Ruku`, As-Sab` At-Tuwal, Sajdat At-Tilawah, Ad-Dabt, `Alamat Al Waqf, Al Qira'at, Al Qira'at Al Mashhurah, Al Mu`anaqah, Al Ma`udhatan, Al Mufassal, Al Munazzal, and Al Waqf Al Lazim.

It also contains an index of the Surahs including the number of Surahs, their names, and the number of their Ayahs.

As for the sciences of the Qur'an in the site, until now some important sciences were defined such as:

• Al Makky and Al Madany which have been inclusively defined.

• Abrogating and abrogated (under construction).

• Asbab An-Nuzul [reasons for revelation] (under construction).

• Tajweed Al Qur'an [improvement of Qur'an recitation]: It was illustrated in a good manner depending on a number of references that are mentioned in the end of the article.

• Mushkal I`rab Al Qur'an, Dr. Ahmad Al Kharrat (the professor of syntax and grammar at Imam Muhammad ibn Sa`ud University in Medina) handled this mission quite well in his book Al Mujtaba fi Mushkal I`rab Al Qur'an where that book was uploaded to the site. You can search for any Ayah by the way explained by Dr. Ahmad in the introduction of his book. He also has the book of Al Mufassal fi I`rab Al Qur'an which I believe it has not done yet.

The books of Tafsir on the site:

This site contains the following books of Tafsir:

* At-Tabary: The site exerted a lot of efforts to upload Tafsir At-Tabary along with the comments of Sheikh Ahmad Muhammad Shakir and Sheikh Mahmoud Muhammad Shakir which was a great and sufficient effort. They designed it in a creative way where you pass the mouse on the Ayah then click it to view the text of the verifier that you can print. You will find also poetic examples, linguistic comments and others for the verifier.

It is known that the comments of Sheikh Mahmoud Shakir stopped at narration No. 20787 in Tafsir Ayah 27 of Surat Ibrahim. Through the site you can locate the part and page and going to them [which is still inaccurate].

They continued to attribute poetic examples to their references depending on the print of Al Baby Al Halaby, but narrations were not numbered, I wish they did, because no other print copy was done but the final print done by Sheikh `Abdullah At-Turky (may Allah guide him).

• Ibn Kathir (under construction).

• As-Sa`dy: They placed the last updated version of Tafsir As-Sa`dy (may Allah bestow mercy on his soul) that was printed in one volume verified by Dr. `Abdur-Rahman Al Luwayhiq (may Allah grant him success).

• Al Baghawy (under construction).

• At-Tafsir Al Muyassar:

It is the Tafsir that was published by the Complex in different sizes, but it no longer exists in bookshops, and researchers can hardly find it, therefore its presence on the Internet is a great feature for researchers. It is a simple abridged Tafsir that is easy for beginners and good for translation. The Tafsir was the output of many specialized scholars in the field of Qur'anic studies and Tafsir (may Allah reward them the best).

• The site also contains Fatwas on Qur'an:

These Fatwas are done by a group of later and former scholars such as Ibn Taymiyah, Sheikh `Abdul-`Aziz ibn Baz, Khalil Harras, Mahmoud Shaltut, and others such as `Abdullah ibn Jibrin (may Allah protect him). The site also includes valuable information about the history of the Mushaf in regard to the writing of the Mushaf, images of old copies, Islamic decorations of the Qur'an, different calligraphies of the Qur'an, and information about the Qur'an.

The site contains multiple services, but they have not been completed yet such as speaking about new translations of the Qur'an, some incorrect translations of the Qur'an, and new techniques by which the Qur'an was served.

Summary of the site:

The site is a huge Islamic project, no wonder, because the Complex has become a global Islamic milestone with huge financial potentials, so what is expected is higher than reality. I suggest that admins would make purchase available on the site for the Complex publications. May Allah guide all people to complete this project and reward them the best.

(3)

I wrote this topic when we established Multaqa Ahl At-Tafsir to know the sites that are related to the Glorious Qur'an and its services and to be trusted. Now, sites have become numerous by the favor of Allah, and if a person dedicated himself to write short profile about them, he would not be able to do so.

Of good sites: Http:/www.mp3quran.net which offers Qur'an by different voices and recitation by mp3 format which many people like on their mobiles and in their cars.

Likewise is http://www.tvquran.com

May Allah guide their admins to success and accept their actions for the sake of Allah.
