The Resurrection (1)

Ressurection: means travelling from the life of Barzakh (the grave) to the arsat of the Day of Judgement.

Arsat: plural of Arsa and that is the wide area in which there is neither construction nor tree.

Blowing in the Soor is the first step of travelling from the life of Barzakh to the greater day, the Day of Judgement, so what is the blowing in the Soor? Who is the angel responsible for it?

Linguistically, the Soor: the horn. In the Shariah: a great horn. Israfeel (may Allah be pleased with him) has put his mouth at it and is waiting for the order to blow into it.

The scholars have gathered that Israfeel is one of the angels (may Allah be pleased with them) and is responsible for blowing into it. The consensus was reported by Al Haleemi and others.[1]

Blowing into the Soor is confirmed by the book, the Sunnah and the consensus of the pious predecesors. Proof to that will come by the grace of Allah Almighty

So you know, the first blow is: the blow of stunning. The Proof to that will follow. It is especially for those who have remained in the life of the world because it is no secret to you that among people are those who will die through the days of the life of this world for various reasons. There are also those people who will remain until the end of the world so they do not die except after the appearance of the major signs of the Hour. The reason for their death is: the first blow, which is the blow of stunning.

This is after people live through the first major signs of the Hour until a day comes when movement stops in the strange universe. Allah Almighty brings death to all living (things). His Majesty lives the complete life by Himself:

{كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ }

“Everything will be destroyed except His Face” [Al Qasas: 88]

{كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ * وَيَبْقَى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ}

“Everyone upon the earth will perish. And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.” [Al Rahman: 26, 27]
