Pornography and drugs

Of the biggest problems facing the Muslim family today in the course of the spread of satellite channels, the Internet, and other means of technology and the business of parents to secure the daily needs is the rearing of children properly. Allah Almighty says: "O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded." [Surat At-Tahrim: 6]. The Prophet (peace be upon him): "It is enough sin for a person to waste those whom he supports."

`Abdullah ibn `Umar narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects. The ruler is a guardian and responsible for his subjects; the man is a guardian of his family; the woman is guardian in her husband's house and responsible for her wards; a servant is guardian of his master's property and responsible for his ward. So all of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects."

In light of the spread of porno channels, the Internet, and the spread of drugs, parents should assign some time not for observing children, but for dialogue, direction, and explanation, for you cannot watch them all day long inside the house not to mention observing them in streets, school, and suchlike. You must link them with Allah (Glory be to Him), and make them fear Allah in all their actions, words, and behavior. A parent should say to his children: O child, if someone offers you a cigarette, some drugs, or wine, etc., and tells you to try for they will make you feel happy and remove your concerns, and suchlike, do not take them and cut your relationship with him, for he is a devil in the image of a human who wishes evil for you. Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayâtîn (devils) among mankind and jinn, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it; so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafsîr Al-Qurtubî, Vol. 7, Page 67)" [Surat Al An`am: 112].

If someone tells you to watch a porno clip on a mobile or on the computer, do not watch it. If someone asks to have homosexuality with you or say to you, come to spend a nice time with girls and have sex with them, keep away from him, he is a devil. If someone says to you: Let's steal some money from such and such place to buy whatever we want or steal some candies or juice from such and such place, do not follow him, for robbery is forbidden.

O child, you have to accompany righteous children who fear Allah, keep away from forbidden matters, and do not use foul language.
