Does anyone sympathize with the people of a country who are living in this world but are forgotten.

It is true that hunger is bad, and it is true that if hunger had been a man, I would have killed him. It is true that man cannot endure hunger and thirst, his tempers change and his mood diverges when he starves or becomes thirsty.

However, has anyone thought of the people who prefer hunger to satiety and thirst to watering?

Has anyone thought why did the heroes of the blessed land [Jerusalem], who are detained in Israeli prisons, prefer death to life and tiredness to rest?!

Why did those heroes decide to start their battle with their only weapon: The weapon of hunger in the battle of empty bellies?

Our captives in Israeli prisons are considered a stigma on the forehead of our Muslim nation.

The duty toward those fighting heroes is to make them a symbol for ransom and sacrifice, to praise their efforts, and bless their actions, not to forget them in prisons.

What happened is that the entire nation let them down as it failed Muslims around the world; my regret for a nation whose children became low and its enemies became high.

In our dignified Shari`ah:

It is obligatory upon us to release our Muslim captives as well as non-Muslims who fulfill their duties. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Release the captive and feed the hungry." Our captives are hungry and yearn for meeting their beloved ones and seeing their country.

The duty of releasing the captive is obligatory upon every person who is able to do so, however sometimes it becomes more obligatory on some people than others: It is more obligatory upon Muslim rulers than ordinary Muslims.

Our Muslim scholars have written golden words about the necessity of releasing the captive even if the entire Muslim treasury house is spent for that, how could it be today while Muslims are living in prosperity and if they want, they can rescue their Muslim brothers.

How do Muslims sleep while there are Muslim captives in the prisons of the Jews and the Christians?!

By Allah who has no partner with Him in worship, I do not mention the conditions of our captives anywhere but I feel sorrow and wonder how come those heroes are deprived of life and sentenced by death while they are alive without we move a finger.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You against the tyranny of the lewd and the weakness of the trustworthy people. O Allah, I free myself from letting down our captives or submitting them to our enemy. O Allah, I ask You by Your Beautiful Names and High Attributes to grant them a quick release, O owner of favors, the Lord of the World.

My message is directed to the people who have pitiful hearts and live conscious if there is any.
