He smashed his chains and got out of his den, seeking to aid the besieged Gaza despite his siege in the occupied territories. He did not pay attention to the cunning and harassment of Zionists, how does he pay attention to their threats, whereas he got used to move between courtrooms, prison cells, and the military checkpoints that block the way between him and Al Aqsa Mosque?! He is a powerful person who speaks in the name of the nation. A painter can draw him as a huge and strange creature that encompass the entire Palestine. He protects Palestine with his body while strikes come from all sides, but they do not affect his determination and do not dissuade him from his mission.

Thus should be the person who believes in a message inspired by religion. He is an example of a rebel against current occupation and racism on several fronts. He defends the cause of Palestine in global forums, defends Al Aqsa Mosque, and stands against the Zionists' plans for the demolition of houses, Judaizing Jerusalem, destroying Al Aqsa, and preventing those who offer Salah to perform it there. How many times Israeli soldiers beat him while he is facing their arms with an open chest full of faith and challenge to the military checkpoints around the Sacred Site! How many times he was alienated from Al Aqsa by unjust arbitrary decisions!

How many times his countrymen gathered around him to extract power and support him!

Some people consider him an Israeli citizen by virtue of the international law and the laws of the Zionist entity. However, he states and stresses on being a Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian whose land is occupied and he struggles to liberate his land. The formal Arab regimes have failed him by the policy of concessions without taking something back. The authority of Ramallah let him down when it abandoned the Palestinian constants during worthless negotiations and stood in the line of resistance which did not separate between the lands of 1948 —as it is now called— and the free Gaza, or the surrounded and the occupied territories because they are all parts of Palestine; his country and the land of his fathers and forefathers.

Is not he an example of a hero whom the entire nation dreams of to achieve its hopes, gather its word, and engage in the battle of liberation? He has all the characteristics of a successful leader around whom the crowds gather and give leadership because his reference is clear and extracted from Islam. He proved to be a man of principles not a man of interests, adopting the resistance project and refusing the surrender project.

Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims loved him as they have seen him challenging Zionists politically and in the media.  He attacked them bravely and exposed their destructive plans, moreover, his speeches and statements were like bullets and artillery shells which shook the armed enemy.

By such men the nation gains victory. `Umar ibn Al Khattab realized this fact long time ago and knew that the powerful man who has firm faith is one of the victory factors. Once `Umar told his friends: Make a wish! One of them wished to have as much gold as the mountain of Uhud to spend for the sake of Allah; and their wishes did not come out this line. Thereupon, Al Farouq said: As for me, I wish to have a house that is full of men like Abu `Ubayd ibn Al Jarrah and use them to fight in the way of Allah!

`Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said the truth because were it not Abu Bakr and his firm situation, the Companions would have not fought the apostates. In the meantime, we should not lag behind if something happened to Islam. Were it not the situation of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, innovation in religion would have prevailed the Sunnah and were it not the bravery of Sultan Qutuz, Muslims would have not defeated mongols.

Zionists decided to kill him when they attacked the convoy of freedom, but Allah failed their plots as if they did not see him; and perhaps Allah (may He be Exalted) honored him by that.

We ask Allah to safeguard him from the plots of the Jews, open for him the hearts of people, and guide him to the Straight Path until comes the command of Allah and the ordeal is removed away from our oppressed people of Palestine.
