The problem of poverty away from the light of Shari`ah

In a time statistics stated that 60 million American citizens suffer obesity and fatness which cause losses that may reach 10 billion dollars, and they cost the Italian Government about 10 billion Euros annually, statistics also stated that 8 children are dying every minute in Africa due to poverty and lack of vaccines.

The general manager of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations said: "Our planet produces food by a variety and quality that is enough to secure and supply food for all earth population, however tonight 845 million people shall sleep hungry."

The Human Development Report of 2005 mentioned that seven billion dollars needed annually to provide 2 billions and 600 million people with clean water during the coming 10 years are less than the costs of perfume Europeans apply and less than the expenditures of Americans on optional cosmetic surgery. We should bear in mind that this sum can save the lives of about 4000 people everyday of definite death due to polluted water.

No one should think that the failure of regimes which oppose the Shari`ah in fighting poverty is limited only on poor and underdeveloped countries, but we find:

In the United States 1% of its population own 50% of all American fortunes, whereas 80% of them own less than 8% of these fortunes.

The state of Virginia which have the highest rates of obesity has 27% of its children live below poverty line.

The Australian Council of social services prepared a study which revealed that 10% of Australians live under poverty line although its prosperous economy.

The annual report of the American statistic bureau regarding the living standard in USA in 2006 revealed the presence of 36.5 million poor people of the total population which is 302 million people.
