Surat Al Baqarah (126-127)

{ وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَذَا بَلَداً آمِناً وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُم بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلاً ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ } [البقرة:  126].

126- Remember also when Abraham (peace be upon him) invocated: O Lord, make this country secure of fear, and provide the believers with all kinds of fruits. Thereupon, Allah had responded and said to him: I shall provide those who disbelieved with sustenance and delay the torment for them. Surely, sustenance is for both the pious and the dissolute because it is one of the pleasures of the world in short time then the disbelievers shall be taken to the torment of Fire and what a worst place it is!

{ وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ } [البقرة:  127]

127- O Prophet, mention to your people Abraham and Ishmael's building of the Ka`bah and raising the foundations of the House while they were supplicating: O our Lord, accept from us these righteous deeds and obedience including the building of the House, for You hear the supplications and know the intention behind all actions.
