No one can deny the role played by teachers as they are the generations' instructors and their work put them in direct confrontation with the clay that they may form as they like, if they are focused on education.

Teachers are not alike, a student deals with different numbers of school teachers everyday and perhaps they suffer contrast of natures and behavior of teachers.

In the essay written by sister, Sahar Allabban, entitled: "`A'ishah, and not Asha," I found many things in that wonderful story, especially the theme of this article which is: the role of that teacher who was a good example and a cause for reviving another person's life, and that teacher, Huda, became Huda (guidance) for all her female students.

The honorable teacher in this story was acting according to the teachings of Islam and the spirit of rearing and education at the same time. In the same time, she lived in the middle of her students' crises: felt sorry for them and wished the best for them and with smartness -after the will of Allah- it led her student to change, but I say: She brought her to life again.

A life in which a person does not know anything about his religion and the icons of his religion, and attach himself to the disbelievers and the evil-doers; how can we call it life?

No doubt, it is like death, and tight and miserable life.

Our teacher Huda wanted to make a change using her position, hence she could change the course of a student whose parents could not change much of her life. Moreover, they subjected to her will and avoided any clash with her even though she was under their control and custody.

In the light of this story, we say: O teacher, pay attention to your position and the status you represent at least to you students.

O teacher, you can change many things in your students and you can live multiple roles inside your class and in your environment -school- as well as in the heart of your students who receive information, behavior, and feelings from you.

As long as students in the state of receiving knowledge, they will not be in complete maturity, self-sufficiency, no-need for teachers. Therefore, make use of this need in your students even if it not clear in their eyes because they really need it.

O teacher, one day you were a student, used to love a teacher and give him preference to other teachers, and used to love a subject because of its instructor, whereas you could not understand a subject because of its instructor. You either heard or said: such and such teacher was the cause that I hate such and such subject although I loved it and vice-versa.

O teacher, perhaps you have seen the student who imitates his instructor; and if he could live with his character for the rest of his life, he would do so because of his great admiration with that teacher whom he has taken as a role model.

Dear teacher, you have to be a role model and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would be your model example in behavior and dealings with the recipients. Furthermore, you have to bear the great responsibility of rearing students which you will bear for the rest of your life. Rearing and education are correlated in the name of the ministry, and more inseparable in reality.

Live with the slogan of the teacher who calls for Allah, the reformer teacher, and the teacher who is beloved by his students. Exert efforts to achieve that purpose more than the keenness of other to the salary and more than the eagerness of others to move to their own towns.

Each instructor and each person was given certain capabilities, so he has to use the knowledge which Allah gave him in the service of the rearing-educational work (which basically serve the call for Allah).

This is a simple reminder which I wish that the people of interest shall take with great consideration and study and discuss it.

Thank you again teacher Huda and sister `A'ishah. We ask Allah to guide us to the Straight Path and hold us firm on the truth until we meet Him.

1- Special Comment  important role for teachers
Muhammad bin Khamees - Morocco - 04/01/2011 11:26 AM

this article is very important for teachers who left their role in education. we can see the degree of deterioration in both ethical and educational process in our society. but if they play their role, we will not suffer.
